The Survey

The Energy Survey

We will Arrange a Time and Date to meet with you and perform the Survey. We will carry an Identification card and pre-arranged Passwords can be used.
This is a visual survey only and your home will be left as it was before the survey started.
All your personal information is 100% secure.

The Onsite Survey will take approx. 1 hour to complete (depends on the size and complexity of the property).
All rooms in the property need to be surveyed for information on items such as windows, heating, lighting etc.
All Space Heating devices need to be assessed (e.g.: Boiler, Radiators, Fires)
The Hot Water system (e.g.: Cylinder, Thermostat etc.) needs to be assessed
A floor plan of the house needs to be noted
The overall dimensions of the home need to be measured (e.g.: Heights of rooms and Perimeter of the property)
Some parts of the property will need to be photographed
The loft area (if applicable) will need to be assessed

The owner / occupier will be asked some questions regarding the property in order to:
improve accuracy of survey
reduce the time to perform the survey
Any additional information (e.g.: Double Glazing certificates, Cavity Wall
Insulation certificates) will help assessor increase accuracy of Survey

The survey is a visual Survey only – and there will be NO need to drill any holes, look beneath floors etc.
